Dr. Harvey Sisler is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Education from Kent State University, a Ph.D. in Education from Case Western Reserve University, and a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from John Carroll University. He has over 40 years teaching and counseling experience in Northern Ohio.

He has done extensive research on home businesses partly because of difficulty he and others encountered in finding suitable employment over age 50. He is an advocate of providing alternative solutions to this problem and firmly believes that owning and operating a home business can lead to much satisfaction as well as establishing an adequate income. He is also an advocate of exploring home business opportunities for students.
